Care & Counseling Logo

None of our counselors are acting as professional or licensed counselors when offering counseling ministry at Cornerstone Baptist Church. We are operating in a Pastoral Care capacity.

We are encouragers in the faith, seeking to help you enjoy a meaningful and victorious relationship with Jesus Christ. Our counseling world-view is rooted firmly in the Holy Bible. Spiritual health and welfare are emphasized in all our sessions.

Living victoriously is not just overcoming sin. It is also the choice to live a surrendered or yielded life, inviting Jesus Christ to live His victorious life in and through us.

Our Mission

The mission of Cornerstone Church’s Pastoral Care and Counseling Ministries is to help you discover the joy of knowing the love of God by entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; discovering the wisdom of His Word, especially as it pertains to the crises, issues, or hardships that plague every-day life; and enjoying the encouragement that other believers can provide.

We offer an array of ministries, including Pastoral Care, Pastoral Counseling, Discipleship (Personal, Marriage & Family), and Care Groups. We also can link you to other community resources.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide the highest quality Bible-based care and support for church members and residents of the Fredericksburg Area. We strive to exemplify and embody Christ’s life and commandment to "Feed My sheep"

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
