Worship Ministry

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts! Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him all the earth!” Psalm 96:8-9

The Lord is God, and worthy of our praise and worship. But what does true worship look like? In John 4:23-24 Jesus Himself tells us, “…the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him." Jesus was telling the woman at the well that true worship is when our hearts are worshiping Him, not just our outward actions. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

At Cornerstone, our times of corporate worship are intended to be times in which we can do just that - have an authentic life-changing experience with our Heavenly Father. Our spirits will give praise, adoration, honor and worship to Him through biblically-sound music, testimony, and preaching. His Word is truth, and is the basis of all we do in our corporate worship setting. We offer two worship services on Sunday morning. The first service begins at 8:30 am, and the second service begins at 11:00 am.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is true worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then, you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2
