Pastor Todd Pyle
Hi I’m Pastor Todd Pyle,I was born in Fredericksburg in 1967 and have been a resident here in Virginia all my life. I married my wonderful wife Denita on April 25, 1992. I surrendered to the call of the ministry in 1997 and began my studies at Virginia Baptist College. In 1999 I was licensed, ordained and became the Assoc. Pastor at Victory Baptist Church where I served until moving to Cornerstone Baptist Church in 2001 as their Assoc. Pastor. In 2002 I was called to become the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone. It is a great honor and privilege to serve the wonderful people of this church. I have often said I’m extremely blessed to pastor such a sincere, genuine and loving group of people.
Youth Associate Pastor Chris Brown
I was born and raised in Southern Maryland. It was during my high school years that I made a commitment to Jesus Christ, while attending a revival on April 26, 1978 at my church. I began attending a Bible study in Southern Maryland and later became the teacher of that study when the leader and his family moved to England as missionaries. After high school, I attended Prince Georges Community College where I earned my Associates Degree. During my years at the junior college, I worked at a Christian bookstore and played in a Christian music group. When I completed my Associates Degree, I moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia to complete my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Mary Washington.
In 1991, I began serving as the pastor of local non-denominational church where I served for over 13 years. God blessed the work but it took a lot of time away from my family so I stepped down to spend more time with my family. During that time, I felt an increasing burden to work with youth in this area. In January 2009 I accepted the position of Youth Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
I currently reside in South Stafford, with my wife, Laura, and our three children, Olivia, Ethan, and Brett.
Elder Bob Harrison
I was born in Mississippi, and then moved to Mobile Alabama when I was about 6 years old and came to know the Lord at the age of 8. My mother played the piano every Sunday and made sure we were in church. I came from a family of 7 children. I had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. I was the baby of the family. I had a brother who was a preacher in Alabama for more than 50 years and another brother that was a deacon at his church for many years. There are only 3 of us children left. When my wife found Christ I also rededicated my life to Lord and He increased my desire to learn more about Him and His Son. I have studied prophecy and graduated from Tim LaHayes University. I continue to study His word each and every day. My wife and I have bible study before she leaves to go to work at the church. I feel so blessed to be a part of a church that teaches and preaches the Word of God and stands on His word. I have served as head deacon, usher, Sunday school teacher and I currently am serving the Lord as Elder at Cornerstone.
